We found David to be very helpful,  he took time to answer all our questions and made sure we spent time with our new puppy Freya and introduced us to Freya’s mum, dad and grandad. 

It was obvious that the welfare of his dogs was paramount.

We were looking for a calm family dog, as we live 4 hours away regular visits to have a pup pick us wasn’t really an option, so we trusted David to pick the right dog for us, something he assured us he was very good at. I can’t recommend David enough as a breeder, he knows what he’s doing, he’s open and honest and breeds good quality dogs. 

I collected these beautiful pups summer 2021 and 1 year on all is great. They are very healthy and having met their working parents, we know their breeding was excellent. My vet (who also my friend) gets to see them on a weekly basis and always gives them a fine bill of health and states what fine dogs they are so I can highly recommend you get your dogs here, for me it would be my first choice in future.

We have been fortunate enough to own one of David’s cockerdor litter – a chocolate female – Ria. She has a lovely temperament and she is a beautiful puppy. We were able to see mum, dad and even grandad when we visited! 

I had researched lots of breeders and felt that David was a very reputable and knowledgable dog lover. He clearly cares about all of his dogs and puppies and I would highly recommend him as a breeder. 

David has kept in touch with us since we took Ria home and we know he is only a phone call away if we need any support and advice, particularly in the first few days/weeks of bringing her home.

We are first time dog owners that decided on the breed of Cockerdor and were so happy to have found David who had a working black Labrador and a working cocker spaniel. David was instantly welcoming and informative and we came up to visit him and his lovely dogs and got to meet mum and dad who both had amazing temperaments. David is an experienced gun dog trainer who clearly cares about his dogs and the welfare of the puppies. We had great communication throughout and got to visit the litter at 4 weeks old for our puppy Pippa to ‘choose us!’ He is a responsible breeder and ensured the puppies were healthy before going to their homes. He was honest and open always, happy to give us advise and support and checked in regularly after we took Pippa home. We couldn’t be happier with our Pippa, she is such a beautiful, affectionate, intelligent pup and we are so grateful to have met David.
